Leia continues her musical adventure in Odesa Ukraine. Mendelssohn Violin Concerto In D Minor | Leia Zhu Recorded live at the State Grand Hall, Kazan on 14th March 2018 Leia performed the Mendelssohn violin concerto in D minor with the Kazan Chamber Orchestra La Primavera under the direction of Rustem Abyazov at the VI International festival L'ARTE DEL ARCO. This festival is supported by the Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan. Concerto for violin and string orchestra in D minor was composed by Felix Mendelssohn when he was thirteen years old. This concerto is written for his teacher Eduard Rietz. Yehudi Menuhin discovered the manuscript in the 1950s and resurrected this concerto for all to hear. The 10-year-old violinist Leia Zhu appeared as '*Wunderkind', at the Würzburg Mozartfest 2017 held in the UNESCO world heritage Würzburg Residence. Every year in the early summer, international classic stars are guest at Mozartfest Würzburg. The unique combination of music, painting and architecture at the concerts in Würzburg Residenz and extraordinary concerts at unusual venues attract more than 25,000 visitors every year to around 60 events at the Mozartfest. Leia performed two concerts: As soloist, she performed Peter I. In December 2016, upon invitation as a violin soloist, Leia Zhu (Лея чжу) toured with the Lerman Chamber Orchestra (LCO) in Naberezhnye Chelny (Набережные Челны) and Kazan (Каза́нь) in Russia.
